1968 GT500 SELBY COBRA "KING OF THE ROAD"
Printed on 100% pre-shrunk, high quality Cotton, this historic Shelby GT500 (see below) is an outstanding example of Carroll Shelby's development of power.
The 1968 Shelby GT500, built out at Shelby facilities campaigned at drag strips and was the Super Stock Eliminator Champ at the 1968 Winternationals. The GT500 had a 428 Police Interceptor. This GT 500-KR 428 was rated at 335-bhp and had diecast aluminum valve covers with "Cobra Lemans" a reference to this engines family victory over Ferrari at Le Mans in 1966 and 1967.
